Happy Chinese New Year.
I'll just keep adding on to this post till the 15th day of CNY
CNY 2007 resolutions:
+ Work for what I want
+ Stop procrastinating, don't pile homework
+ Spend time wisely, quit wasting time
+ Develop passion for art, take pride in art -.-
+ Love my sister more, I feel like I keep ill-treating her, hehehe
+ Finish the four steps to perfection!
Eve: The family did some last minute housework and then Mummy, Emily and I cabbed down to White Sands to shop, leaving my father at home alone to do the rest of the cleaning. We went to Aunty Lillian's place first and then my father joined us later, had reunion dinner (steamboat forevaaah) with the maternal relatives and tossed the Yu Sheng. As usual, I only picked out the crackers :D

Day 1: Woke up damn early and went to visit my paternal grandmother. When we reached, only a few of my paternal relatives were there, there wasn't any CNY atmosphere at all :( Uncle Seng's family went to Shanghai for a holiday, Uncle Edwin's family couldn't come, and we waited for Aunty Peng's family for super long but she didn't come so we decided to leave. (Therefore, this year's CNY income dropped by a lot, I need financial aid.) Emily and I couldn't even relate to the cousins present then 'cause they are the children of the daughter my grandmother gave away when she was just born so we barely know them. Yeah so we just sat around while the adults talked and I kept eating pineapple tarts, a lot of calories but whatever :B I don't have pictures for this 'cause my paternal relatives are not hip at all they don't take photos.
Emily: "Where is the dustbin?"
Maid: "Justin, he's in China."
Then late in the afternoon we left for my maternal grandmother's house for lunch- homecooked curry chicken and kong bah pau, the loves! My grandmother totally can cook. But anyway by the time we arrived, everyone already left so I thought this year's CNY quite sucked 'cause last year we actually went out for Swensen's and movie. Mummy and I were so tired so we slept and then we went to Aunty Lillian's place for dinner again 'cause there were lots of leftovers from the steamboat the day before.

Later at night, Emily, Christel, Weihui, Weiyi and I went down to take pictures :D Weihui piggybacked me (what's with piggybacking) and she was like, 'I feel my heels sinking into the ground'. Whatever Weihui, they were already sinking before I was on your back! Then went up to camwhore and conference in Christel's room, hahaha. Emily, Christel, Jeriel, Joel, Weihui, Weijing & Weiyi = LOVE TO THE POWER OF SEVENNN! Oh, I think this year's CNY is relatively different from last year's 'cause you can see that all of the cousins have grown up! We now all wear one-piece instead of two and we all wear heels instead of sneakers. Somehow it feels so :)

Basically the rest of the night was spent on talking with the cousins about English 'cause I have an English Teacher as a cousin- Joel! Tell me how you pronounce 1) cajun 2) Eileen 3) Stephen 4) sea anemone 5) mansionnette. That's about it we went home after that.
Day 2: Aunty Lillian and her family came over to our house and then we set out together for lunch at some kopitiam restaurant at Seletar. Anyway, Jeriel was wore this long-sleeved shirt and had a scarf at his neck -.- He really thinks that he's a Japanese maaan, and then every now and then he would shoot some Japanese words and I don't know if they mean anything 'cause I don't understand. After lunch, we went to Aunty Jenny's house to visit her. She moved and now lives with her brother and, Jun Hao and his family. Well, hope she's doing fine :) Her grandson, Zi Yang, is super cute la, so curious about everything! He grinned when Aunty Lillian took a photo with him, even though he only has a few teeth, oh my god so cute.

We sat there for a while and then we separated, the family went to Tampines Mall to get tickets for the late night movie while Aunty Liliian's family went to Po Po's place to fetch her and get the ingredients for the popiah dinner. Just sat around till 10+ and then we left for the movie 'Just Follow Law'. The movie was funny and meaningful (www.laozhabor.blogspot.com, what the hell!?), well all Jack Neo films are, but we sat at the first row so it was quite tiring to watch the movie. Went home after that 'cause it was past 1.

Day 3: My parents went out with Aunty Lillian and Uncle Peng Seng, and she asked us to order pizza if we're hungry. We called, Spicy drumlets + Hawaiian pizza + Garlic bread = :B Anyway I was talking to the Pizzahut man on the phone and then he asked me if I wanted Adlksdflafm sauce or Vegetable sauce for the beef meatballs (my sister wanted them). I totally couldn't hear what he said so I asked him to repeat like two times but I still didn't get it and I was embarrassed to ask anymore and anyway I was quite sure my sister wouldn't want vegetable sauce so I was like, 'I don't want the vegetable sauce.'. And then he went, 'Okay, so you want the Abdoiafalk sauce.'. Passed the phone to my sister and then she confirmed the orders and yeah yeah turns out it was Avocado sauce -.- The good food came after an hour and we had to pay with our angpao cash, which was detrimental to my piggybank but never mind :D I spent the whole of Day 3 in front of the computer doing nothing constructive despite Chinese + Physics + English + Chemistry + Philosophy + History homework right smack on the table. Oh, if you're interested in what decorations I have at home.

Day 5: Happy Birthday, Ke Xin! :D
Day 6: OH MY GOD I WENT OUT WITH WAN EN AND JIA EN, WHOOHOOO! School ended at 10.40 and then I went to Mummy's office and slept for about two hours then I took the train to Bedok to meet Wan En after she was dismissed. She couldn't spot me as I got out the MRT station, so I had to walk straight up to her. Hello my friend, four months no see! So we took the shuttle bus to her place, I think we waited for more than 20 minutes for the stupid bus. Each time a bus came I asked Wan En if it was The One to her place, and once and again my hopes were dashed, hahaha. Anyway, Wan En's as tall as me now! Oh my god I feel the need for growth. Went to her place and then I helped her with her blog and stuff while she made noodles for me! The noodles she makes are damn good, with abalone sauce. And then her sister, Wan Ting, made another bowl with bacon! Whoohoo they totally can open a Teo Noodles stall or something. Wan En's dog, Bibi, is as cute as evaaah! It listens to my commands, such a good dog :)

Then at around 5P.M we took the bus to Parkway Parade and met Jia En at Andersen's for chocolate fondue! It feels damn good to see Jia En again okay hello my friend, one year no see :( but :) still! Anyway, the waitress was standing there waiting for our order but then Wan En and Jia En kept talking and I was the only sane one I kept urging them to place our orders until I got so agitated the menu I was holding hit a cup of water and it spilled, HAHA. I think the waitress was damn pissed or something but whatever man, customers are always right, right!? Andersen's now packages their chocolate fondue nicer, similar to Haagen Dazs!

After the fondue we walked around for a while and then Wan En's friend told her to go back to school for party! :( Hahaha, Wan En asked Jia En and I to go back with her and pass off as JC 1 students but I didn't go 'cause Daddy was at PP also so I should just go home, Jia En did I think. Oh my god I should have gone to TJC to have a looook! So I left after we took photos :D I LOVE WAN EN AND JIA EN A LOT!!
